| I'm finding it really hard to book shows right now. Every church that I've been to says that the only way I can do a show is if I'm a member. That kinda sucks b/c I can't join 20 different churches just to play there for one night. There's got to be a loophole cuz I know that people they bring in don't have to join. Does anyone know something I could say to these guys? It's also hard to coordinate with my work. With my last job, I always got off at noon on saturdays, so booking a show every sat night wasn't a prob. Now, at Payless, I have to take into consideration other people that I work with cuz I know they prob want a sat night off too. I've tried to alternate a friday one week, then a sat the next week.
I was at metro last night watching the band lead worship and it only increased my desire to want to have a band join me and play at my shows. It would make my songs sound so much better and it would decrease the cost of recording. (everyone could chip in and i wouldn't have to hire in musicians) I hope that I can figure out something with that b/c that would be awesome. Right now it's just been a struggle of finding dedicated people, time, and having everyone be available for the time of the show. In the meantime, I'll keep praying about it.

| I wanna go see scary movie 4!
I went to musicians friend and picked up a mic, mic clip, boomstnad, and a bag to put it all in...all for just $20! it used to be around $60 or somethin (can't find the ad anymore) Oh well! it's cool and I'm enjoying it. :)
